I'm Chris Zajac
Based in Connecticut and traveling globally, I’ve always believed that photographs have the power to stop time, to hold onto a feeling, a connection, or a moment that might otherwise disappear.
What draws me to photography is people. Their energy, their stories, their resilience, their relationships, and the moments they don't realize are worth remembering.
My journey through healthcare and oncology changed the way I see people. It taught me the importance of being present, listening closely, and looking beyond what is immediately in front of me. Photography became a natural extension of that perspective - a way to connect with people and tell stories with authenticity and purpose.
Today, I photograph corporate events, conferences, wellness experiences, healthcare initiatives, individual portraits, and the people at the heart of them. Whether I'm photographing a keynote speaker on stage, an executive portrait, a team connecting between sessions, or an authentic moment happening behind the scenes, I'm looking for the same thing: the human connection.
The moments that aren't staged.
The emotion behind the achievement.
The energy in the room.
The personality behind the portrait.
The people who make an experience meaningful.
Those are the photographs I want to create.
