Get to know the photographer a little bit more

Nature, Adventure, Anything Thrilling

Hi, my name is Chris, and I am a photographer based in Connecticut. With a doctorate in pharmacy and over 20 years of specialized experience in oncology, I am dedicated to making a difference in the cancer community through science and photography. With the launch of AYA Cancer Strong, I am committed to empowering individuals diagnosed with cancer by turning challenges into creative expression. Having faced my own cancer diagnosis on the day of my father's funeral, following his own battle with cancer, I intimately understand the hardships involved. Despite these challenges, I have found solace and resilience through faith, family and friends, wellness and photography in all its forms—mental, social, and physical. With this deep personal connection and commitment, I am thrilled to launch this new project focused on empowering cancer patients through the transformative power of photography.

Death Valley National Park unfolds into timeless days where peace feels endless and the noise of the world fades away. Wrapped in deep history and ancient landscapes, it has a way of reshaping you leaving you calmer, more aware, and deeply connected to something far older than yourself.

Death Valley feels like a living archive of America, its vast salt flats, dunes, and canyons telling stories of resilience, extremes, and quiet strength that shape how we understand this country’s land. It’s the hottest place on Earth and the largest national park in the lower 48 states, and through the lens, it shows how the U.S. is defined not just by cities, but by raw, untamed landscapes that demand respect and care.

DVNP has the power to change your life.
